Fitness Evaluation

Personalized Exercise Program

Supervised Exercise

A series of questions and simple tests designed to assess fitness.  If requested, a trainer will take body measurements for the client as a way to track progress based on their individual goals.
An exercise program based on an individual's fitness evaluation results and personal health and fitness goals.
Personal attention during exercise is the primary function of personal trainers.  Clients are educated about the fundamentals of training as well as proper and safe use of equipment.

With every client comes different needs, wants, and expectations. I am willing to take the time with
every client to make sure that they are getting everything they desire out of their workout program.
Results come from accountability, focus, and determination.

Training Philosophy
Every client is different, and can benefit from some kind of training. Bodies won’t adapt unless you give it a reason to, and doing the same workout week after week is a good way to ensure you’ll never change.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why should I use a Personal Trainer if I already work out on my own?
A: A trainer can help motivate and educate you so that you do not waste your time, energy and other resources doing things that do not work.  With a trainer you will do what works for YOU which will help you achieve your goals much faster.
Q: How often should I meet with a trainer?
A: This depends on your goals, how quickly you want to reach your goals, your schedule and your budget.  On average clients do best when they meet with a trainer 2-4 times per week.  The more frequently you meet, the faster you will achieve results and reach your goals.
Q: Will a trainer put me on a diet or expect me to change my lifestyle?
While Personal Trainers are generally very knowledgeable regarding nutrition it is important to remember that they are not licensed dietitians.  Your trainer will discuss nutrition based on your goals. Remember, being healthy and achieving low body fat is 90% nutrition and 10% working out.
Q: Aren’t trainers for serious athletes or people who want to lose a lot of weight?
A: No. Personal Trainers are there to motivate you and design a program that will work for YOU.  Variety is important in exercise.  Doing the same workout over and over again is the #1 reason people hit plateaus with results.  A trainer will give you new and improved ways to work out.
Q: Isn’t it expensive to work with a Trainer?
A: This depends on your interpretation of expensive and your view of such an expense.  Personal Training is not a cost; it is an investment in yourself which gives you information and experience that will benefit you for a lifetime.  How much are you willing to spend on your health?
