I know it has been a while since I reached out, but I am sure as you have noticed, we are making changes and trying to improve your fitness experience. If you have found this blog, you have already realized that we now have a new website! We hope to bring a more interactive experience through some future updates to the website, but we will be using this to help keep you more in the loop, provide fitness and health related content, and spotlighting members and employees.
The gym itself is also growing and changing. We have added new squat racks, a reverse hyper, and a floor glute bench. We also have two new pieces of equipment coming in the fall of 2022; a plate loaded hip thrust, and a pendulum squat. I have attached the links for these at the bottom if you want to take a look. We also have tried to upgrade some of our miscellaneous equipment around the gym as well. We have two more power barbells, bands, chains, and a sled. If you would like to learn how to use any piece of equipment feel free to reach out and we can help you utilize new things around the gym.
We are also thrilled to have Lisa Palmer back as our head of group fitness! I don’t think Lisa needs an introduction, but you should expect the same great experience we have always offered in group fitness and more.
There are still more plans in the works, and we will consistently evaluate and look for opportunities to enhance your experience at Refinery Gym.
